Prayers for the Month

Dear Father,

Welcome to August!

I have purely loved July and feel as though I’ve become closer to You through it! I have experienced nights and mornings where the joy I felt was inconceivable. I laughed out loud like a mad woman and kicked my feet like a giddy little child. That is the type of joy that You brought me this last month and I thank You for it!

Father God, I pray for the month of August. I pray that you prepare me for whatever is to come. Make my heart soft to Your will this month, renew my mind, and quiet my mind so that I can better discern Your voice. I pray that as I seek You this month draw near to me, O Lord! Walk with me through any trials that may arise and may I not forget that You are at work.

I love you God, You are so good and I bring this month of August to You at Your feet!
